Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 support will officially end on October 14, 2025

Windows 10 End of Support – October 14, 2025

What’s Happening

Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025.

After this date:

  • ❌ No more security patches
  • ❌ No more feature updates
  • ❌ No more technical assistance

This means that continuing to run Windows 10 past this date puts your devices — and your data — at serious security risk.

Temporary Option: Extended Security Updates (ESU)

Microsoft is offering an Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, which extends critical security patches until October 2026.

⚠️ Important: ESU is not a long-term solution. It requires additional licensing and is only meant to give organizations and individuals more time to upgrade.

What You Should Do Now

PC by the SEA can help you prepare before the deadline:

  • ✅ Upgrade to Windows 11 (for supported devices)
  • ✅ Replace aging computers with fast, future-ready devices
